Accept Change

Change… too many times I have seen not only hr departments but businesses fail because they are so afraid of the unknown. Just think of where we would be as a society if everyone was afraid of change! I cannot count the number of times I have heard people give 100 reasons why something won’t work before they actually try it. Even worse is instituting change and if in a couple of weeks it is not yet working scrap the idea and go back to what was failing before.


Now I am not saying you should stay with something forever if it isn’t working but at least give it time to see if it starts to make a difference.

Change is often times something that is good for a company or a department. Remaining status quo often times means things get stale and people lose interest. Change can be a shot in the arm, like finding that needle in the haystack that rekindles and reenergizes employees or consumers. Change can make someone’s bronze, silver or silver gold. It can be the flicker of light that gets you noticed.
